A Space Force member reportedly skipped class to get a PS5 but got demoted instead

The Space Drive, it seems, is not sympathetic to the mission that seems to have captured many across the US: getting a PS5. One of its members has reportedly been reprimanded and demoted for being 30 minutes late to physical training because atomic number 2 was stressful to get unitary of the consoles, according to a office on the Free-flying Force amn/nco/snco Facebook varlet (via Task and Purpose).

According to a T, the unnamed airman texted his eminent officer that helium was going to exist 30 minutes late to his fitness improvement plan as helium had been driving round to multiple Targets (the store, not the military terminology) trying to bargain a PS5. The airman then added "Yolo, PS5 > letters of discipline," reported to the varsity letter of discipline.

Possibly his senior officer didn't appreciate the light-mindedness. Perhaps showing up late was somewhat of a wont for the airman, which the instant start out of the missive seems to inculpate. Whatever information technology was, the relocation earned the airman a demotion from E-4 Elder Aeronaut to E-3 Airman First Class.

In terms of dollars and cents, that's a salary cut from just about $2,262 a month to $2,042 a month, accordant to the Air Force website. Unfortunately for our (directly less senior) airman, that means it's going to be even harder to yield a scalped PS5, assuming helium wasn't able to find one during his Poin runs. The letters of reprimand frustratingly provide that detail a mystery.

A spokesperson for the airman's whole could neither confirm nor deny that the letters were real, though they did aver the document's formatting was even up for a letter of call down, according to Task and Purpose.
